Lapeer has the following guidelines in place for all home events:

• $5 entrance fee
• 2 spectators per athlete. NO EXCEPTIONS.
• Masks must be worn at all times.
• Socially distance when possible.
• No concessions.
• No outside food or drinks allowed.

The schedule for Wednesday's quad at Linden is as follows:

• 3:30-4:15 pm- Warm up
• 4:15-4:30 pm- Skin check
• 4:30 pm- Wrestling begins

Wrestling Meet Day Information

On behalf of Kearsley Community Schools, welcome to our Flint Metro League wrestling meet. We are excited to host you this week. Listed below are the procedures put in place to assure that we conduct an organized and safe competition. Please share this information with your coaches, players, fans and staff.

 Timeline (Start Time – 5:00pm)

 Match 1:

o Mat #1: Kearsley / Swartz Creek

o Mat #2: Lake Fenton / Clio

 Match 2:

o Mat #1: Kearsley / Clio

o Mat #2: Lake Fenton / Swartz Creek

 Match 3:

o Mat #1: Kearsley / Lake Fenton

o Mat #2: Clio / Swartz Creek

Bus Parking

 Upon arrival, athletes should be dropped off at the Pool Entrance on the Southeast side of the of the building and use the “Pool Entrance” door to enter the school. Busses should park on the southeast side of the building in the Tennis lot. 

Locker Room

 Due to Covid restrictions and limited availability, there will be no locker rooms provided for visiting teams. Please have athletes come prepared to compete.

Benches

 Each team will be assigned chairs for the event. Individual teams should take their chairs with them to the next mat if they are traveling.

Rosters

 Please email rosters by noon tomorrow to Athletic Secretary Denise Link at dlink@kearsleyschools.org.

Trainer/Water

 We will have a certified medical trainer on site and will provide water jugs for your school. Please advise athletes to bring their own water bottles to refill during the event.

Sanitize

 Between each match, we will clean each mat with our Electrostatic Sprayers to disinfect the surfaces.

 We will provide hand sanitizer and extra mask at each table if needed.

Masks

 Masks are required for everyone at all times unless an athlete is actively competing. This includes players, coaches, officials, bench personnel, event worker, and spectators.

 Game administration will stop the competition if requirements are not met. We will need coaches to help us in enforcing this rule with their athletes.

Officials

 The assigned officials for the meet are: Dustin Harding & Steve Dunman

Admission

 Two guests per participant will be allowed, up to four if step parents are included, but must be step parents to be on the list for that athlete. Guest list should be emailed to Athletic Secretary prior to start of event. We will be charging a $5 admission for spectators.

 Spectator should enter the building using either the “Main Entrance” or the “Pool Entrance”.

 Social Distancing is required. We ask all spectators, who are not from the same household, to please sit 6 feet or more away from others.

Concessions

● There will be no concession sold at the event.

Live Stream

 All events hosted at Kearsley High School. will be live streamed through NFHS Network. Viewers can subscribe and watch at www.nfhsnetwork.com.
