The boys varsity tennis team lost a hard fought match versus Bay City Western Monday by the score of 3 - 5. As is typical between the schools, there were numerous tiebreakers and three set matches in a contest that has been very competitive the last few years.
Winning for Clio were singles players Chris Gaffney (1 singles) and Conner Holland (4 singles), as well as the doubles team of Noah Wakefield and Nick Collins (4 doubles). This moves the teams record to 2 - 1 - 1 (0 - 0 - 0) on the season.
The Mustangs next play tonight at home versus the reigning FML champion Flushing Raiders starting at 3:30 pm. GO MUSTANGS!!
