Clio tied Kearlsey on Wednesday 4-4 in what could not have been weather that was the polar opposite of our match versus Flushing yesterday.  Makenzy Robart and Hannah Bader took home convincing wins at singles, while Vanessa Collins and Melody Cole played solid tennis, but as happens in our sport, still came up short against very consistent opponents.

In doubles land, Olivia Schmieder made a strong return to the lineup with partner Kendall Kearly, winning in straight sets.  Alivia Knake and Brinley Owen remain undefeated at 4 doubles when playing together after their straight set victory. Despite their losses, the doubles teams of Delaney Shaw/Keli Saunders and Emily Yax/Sarah Falardeau played some good tennis and continue to improve as teams.

The Mustangs record is now 6-3-4 (4-1-3).  The team travels to Almont tomorrow in a preview of possible post season matchups next Friday.
