The girls tennis team tied Flushing 4-4 on Tuesday night.  As with a majority of our matches this year, we experienced many sides of mother nature (we had Sun, wind, rain, sleet, clouds . . . thankfully no cicadas . . yet).  In what is turning out to be a very well balanced league, the Mustangs once again played half of their matches to three sets, going 2-2 in those matches.  Singles players Makenzy Robart and Hannah Bader both took home victories in matches that were down in at one point, while Vanessa Collins made quick work of her opponent in straight sets.  Kendall Kearly and Lilly Briggs lost a heart breaker at 2 doubles, but battled the entire match.  4 doubles Alivia Knake and Brinley Owen bounced back from a 1st set tiebreak loss to win convincingly in three sets.

This moves the girls record to 6-3-3 (4-1-2 in the league).  They take on Kearlsey tomorrow at home.
