Clio avenged their loss to Swartz Creek this weekend (1-7) at the Lapeer Lightning Invite with a 5-3 win in windy, wet conditions at home today.  On top of the win, Clio holds on to the coveted Rock, our traveling trophy that goes to the seasonal winner (boys and girls) of the Clio-Creek tennis match.  Just like Saturday, both teams battled hard and played fantastic tennis, punctuated even more given the adverse conditions tonight's match was played in.  Clio certainly benefited in tonight's match through the return of 3 players from the dreaded Q list, which sets things up for an exciting run up to regionals. 

1 singles player Makenzy Robart guaranteed the Rock stay in Clio with her victory, while 2 singles Vanessa Collins won the last 3 games of her match in the rain to secure the overall victory (both ladies winning in 3 sets).  Great job tonight, and this week!  Good luck against Holly next week!
