Clio Area Schools Hall of Fame- Class of 2024 Inductee: Chris Coulter

Updated on 06/28/2024

A 1982 graduate of Clio High School, Chris Coulter was the definition of the “Big Man on Campus” during his time here at CHS. A three sport star for the Mustangs, Chris was a three year starter at quarterback for the Mustangs, a two time Big Nine All-Conference baseball player, but it was on the hardwood where he truly left his mark. “Colt,” as he was affectionately known, was a four year starter on the basketball team and a double-digit scorer. He was a multi-year All-State selection in basketball and led both the Big Nine and Genesee County in scoring during his Senior season at 28.8 points per game. Upon graduation from Clio High School, Chris attended Siena Heights on a full ride baseball and basketball scholarship. He later transferred to Mott Community College, where he played baseball for two years, becoming an All-American his sophomore year. Chris’s impact on the athletic program here at Clio during his tenure was undeniable. Clio Area Schools is proud to announce Chris Coulter as an inductee in the Clio Area Schools Hall of Fame Class of 2024.
