The Speedy Lady Stangs Track and Field team beat Owosso by the score of 76 to 56, and Lake Fenton by the score of 70 to 54! Great Job Ladies! First place overall winners were Chloe Vanwinkle in the 100 Dash, Mareena Hulbert in the Discus, and Mikayla Neelands in the 200 Dash, 100 Hurdles, and 300 Hurdles. The 400 Relay team of Hannah Lozano, Abby, Cate, Kendall Williams,and Brooklyn Quintanilla took 1st also. The 1600 relay team of Vanwinkle, Neelands,Gabby McCarrick, and Emerson Starr took 1st place also. Congratulations on your fantastic wins Ladies!  Their next meet will be Friday at the Frankenmuth Invitational

The Speedy Men Stangs Track and Field team competed at Owosso also and lost very close competition. Losing to Lake Fenton in the last event, and losing to Owosso by 3 points. There were some outstanding accomplishments by the men's team. Jack Taylor in his Pole Vault debut took 1st place. Michael Cook running his first high school meet won the Long Jump. Gabe Phillips won the Mile and 2 mile races. Tom Powell won the 200 dash, 110 Hurdles, and the 300 Hurdles. He almost set the school record in the 300 Hurdles missing it by half a second. Outstanding meet gentlemen! We are proud of you! The men will also run at the Marco Marcet Invite in Frankenmuth tomorrow. Good luck to both teams!
